Curacao's Beaches

With incredible secluded coves and sandy bays, Curacao beaches are among the finest in the Caribbean, and the Gold Coast, where Sunset Waters is located, has the island's best diving and beaches.

Enjoy Sunset Waters' crescent shaped Curacao beach with its serene and secluded location. "Tiki" palm-leaf parasols provide welcome shade and drinks are served on the beach from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Curacao Beach Activities

The water around Curaçao is clear and warm and is renowned for its diving and snorkeling with over 25 miles of coral reef only a short boat ride away. It's one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean.

At Sunset Waters, we have a beach volley-ball court, restrooms with showers, and a kiosk with a fleet of kayaks, floats, pedal boats and snorkel equipment available for your use. Some of the best snorkeling in Curacao is literally a stone's throw away from your room and includes a marked snorkel trail.

Scuba diving, either from our Curacao beach or by boat from the dive shop at Sunset Waters, is available. Curacao offers outstanding diving for all skill levels with over forty dive sites. Thriving reefs, beautiful coral gardens, abundant marine life, steep drop-offs, crystal clear visibility, and warm tropical waters make this a diver's paradise. Sunset Divers, our own dive shop on the property, provides easy access to the premier dive locations on the island.

Alternative Curacao Beach Option

Our beautiful Curacao beach also has a small private section reserved for "au natural" sunbathing. As this is a Dutch island with a European influence, topless bathing is permitted and is not frowned upon at all.

For those looking to get more in touch with nature and those who prefer no tan lines, why not try the small-secluded nude beach. This is the only legal nudist beach in Curacao.

Other Curacao Beaches

If you'd like to explore other Curacao beaches, pretty Knip Beach is where the locals go, Cas Abao Beach is popular with swimmers, divers and snorkelers, and Mambo Beach is famous for its nightlife and entertainment.
